I was recently invited to an English class at a local middle school to talk about the book writing process. The teacher, Virginia Walker, and her class were a ton of fun and kept me on my toes the whole time. A word of advice: never give a seventh grade English class a section of manuscript to edit: They were ruthless! But in a good way, I suppose. They gave me a boatload of good ideas and ways to phrase tough sentences. I asked this group of middle schoolers two questions:
